A microgrant of up to £500 can help your group get an injection of cash to help you make a difference in your community.
You don’t have to be a formally constituted group to apply, so this may be the investment for you if you are a new and informal group of people wanting to do your first project together.
Our one stage application form asks some straightforward questions about your group, what you want to do together, and how you will show us the results.
Your work needs to meet one (or more) of the following and must benefit people in Trafford (and may also involve people in surrounding areas).
• Boost household incomes and reducing costs
• Improve education standards and increasing skills
• Create long term economic growth
• Strengthen families and communities
Your completed form will be assessed quickly; we will let you know within 4 weeks if you have been successful. If successful, we will ask you to complete a short grant agreement with us, once completed we aim to have the investment with you within 3 weeks. Therefore, allow at least 7 weeks from application to the date you want to begin your project. Currently, the amount of times a group can receive funding for a micro or small grant is restricted to 2 per year.
